MusicNet & Ways and Means GospelDepot Unlimited Privacy Policy

MusicNet, Inc. ("MusicNet"), in conjunction with Ways and Means Entertainment, LLC ("Ways & Means"), provides GospelDepot Unlimited, a downloadable and Web based music client that provides access to music downloads, a music subscription service, music and other videos, artist features and music news. To use most features of GospelDepot Unlimited, you will need to be a registered user. In connection with making GospelDepot Unlimited available, MusicNet collects and has access to your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy. MusicNet may provide access to your personal information to Ways and Means, which Ways and Means will use only to contact you about GospelDepot Unlimited or promotions related to GospelDepot Unlimited. By agreeing to this Privacy Policy and using GospelDepot Unlimited you agree to the use and storage of your personal information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, do not register or use GospelDepot Unlimited.

Information Collection and Use PracticesMusicNet (and not Ways and Means) collects information when you use GospelDepot Unlimited, including the following:

  • GospelDepot Unlimited automatically checks for updates to GospelDepot Unlimited software.
    • GospelDepot Unlimited may send information about each of your sessions to help us identify issues, evaluate how our program is used and provide our services. Such information may include the following: version number; unique identifier numbers that allow us to distinguish between different computers and different people using GospelDepot Unlimited, MusicNet ID, duration of session time; number of times you download a song.
    • GospelDepot Unlimited may send additional information to better understand your music preferences, personalize certain content, recommend music to purchase or listen to, share playlists, and to automatically identify what CD is in your computer. Information sent may include the song playing, your playlists and what CD is in your drive.
    • GospelDepot Unlimited has an integrated web browser experience and uses MusicNet cookies set through Internet Explorer to provide services described above.
    • Each audio and video track that you access on, or buy from, GospelDepot Unlimited contains security, known as digital rights management, or DRM, which may track play counts and other information that helps MusicNet servers support the subscription service and manage and support the DRM.
    • You may purchase individual songs or subscribe to GospelDepot Unlimited Music Service, our on-demand music service. When you do, you will be asked to create a customer account, including providing a credit card to process payments.

Information About Cookies

A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier that is sent to your browser from a Web site's computers and stored on your computer's hard drive. Each Web site can send its own cookie to your browser if your browser's preferences allow it, but (to protect your privacy) your browser only permits a Web site to access the cookies it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you by other sites.

Choices about Cookies

  • You may configure your browser to accept all cookies, reject all cookies, or notify you when a cookie is sent. (Each browser is different, so check the "Help" menu of your browser to learn how to change your cookie preferences.)
  • If you reject all cookies, you will not be able to use MusicNet products or services that require you to "sign in," and you may not be able to take full advantage of all offerings.

MusicNet's (but not Ways and Means's) Practices Regarding Cookies

MusicNet may use its own cookies for a number of purposes, including to:

  • Access your information when you "sign in," so that we can provide you with automatic updates and enhancements to GospelDepot Unlimited.
  • Estimate and report our total audience size and traffic.
  • Conduct research to improve GospelDepot Unlimited content and services.
  • Require you to re-enter your password after a certain period of time has elapsed to protect you against others accidentally accessing your account contents.

Other Companies' Cookies on the GospelDepot Unlimited Service

  • In addition to MusicNet using cookies, we may allow certain other companies to set and access their cookies on your computer.
  • Those companies provide, among other services, auditing, research and reporting for advertisers.
  • Advertisers' and researchers' use of cookies may be subject to their own privacy policies, not the MusicNet GospelDepot Unlimited Privacy Policy.

Information Sharing and Disclosure Practices

  • For licensing reasons, MusicNet may send designated third parties anonymous track information about the music you listen, or about videos that you watch. MusicNet may also send aggregated, non-identifiable information about our users' declared zip codes to third parties.
  • MusicNet may provide access to your personal information to Ways and Means, which Ways and Means will use only to contact you about GospelDepot Unlimited or promotions related to GospelDepot Unlimited.

Billing

  • To view, edit or cancel the GospelDepot Unlimited Service you have ordered, please visit: your My Account page. It includes information about services you currently subscribe to, payment scheduling and payment history.
  • MusicNet stores users' credit card, and billing information in order to make the process easier and faster whenever you make purchases on GospelDepot Unlimited and to bill you monthly for your subscription service, if you have purchased that service (see, the GospelDepot Unlimited Terms of Use for more information about the subscription service). You must be a registered GospelDepot Unlimited user to input your credit card and billing information.
  • The credit card and billing information stored by MusicNet will only be forwarded to the credit card merchants you specify at the time you place an order or are billed for your subscription.
  • To update billing information click on "My Account" and then "Update Billing Information." To cancel your subscription, you must contact Customer Service by visiting the Customer Service page.
  • MusicNet may, at its option, bill your credit card at the time of each purchase or transaction you make, or we may wait until you have made multiple purchases or transactions before billing your credit card. MusicNet will bill your credit card at least every 33 days so long as you have made at least one purchase. You must keep your billing information up to date in accordance with the preceding bullet point.
  • Your credit card and billing information are password-protected by your GospelDepot Unlimited password. MusicNet uses secure servers, when appropriate, for added security. Please remember that no data transmission over the Internet, or by other means, can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Other

  • When you use GospelDepot Unlimited, you are subject to the GospelDepot Unlimited Terms of Service and any additional terms of service that apply to a particular offering by MusicNet or Ways and Means.

This page describes current MusicNet practices with respect to this particular service. This information may change as MusicNet revises this service by adding or removing features or using different service providers, so visitors are encouraged to review this policy from time to time.

MusicNet's Commitment to Privacy

MusicNet takes protecting your privacy very seriously. To make sure your personal information is secure, we communicate these guidelines to MusicNet employees and strictly enforce privacy safeguards within the company, including disciplining employees for violations of our privacy policies — up to and including dismissal from MusicNet. In addition, we do not knowingly solicit personal information from minors or send them requests for personal information. MusicNet reviews and evaluates its privacy protection policies every year.

MusicNet takes precautions — including administrative, technical, and physical measures — to safeguard your personal information against loss, theft, and misuse, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

GospelDepot Unlimited uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption on all Web pages where personal information is required. To make purchases from GospelDepot Unlimited, you must use a Microsoft Internet Explorer SSL-enabled browser. Doing so protects the confidentiality of your personal and credit card information while it's transmitted over the Internet.

You can help us by also taking precautions to protect your personal data when you are on the Internet. Change your passwords often using a combination of letters and numbers, and make sure you use a secure web browser like Internet Explorer.

This privacy policy is always available through a link in the Web based client and the downloadable client. If you do not want MusicNet to keep you up to date with GospelDepot Unlimited news, software updates and the latest information on products and services please contact customer service and update your personal contact information and preferences. Naturally, if you notify us that you do not want us to use your information for a particular purpose, we will not do so.

MusicNet may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we change the policy in a material way a notice will be posted on our website along with the updated privacy policy.
